Therapeutic Approach

A person with long dark hair, dressed in a black and white outfit, standing in front of a massive, gnarled tree with thick roots and hanging vines, in a dense forest.

Let’s uncover the roots of your difficult emotions.

Everything you are experiencing makes sense once we understand it. This understanding allows us to develop greater empathy for our thoughts, feelings, and actions.

My goal is to create a space where you feel completely free to share without judgment, allowing you to fully connect with and be yourself.

“I truly value your unique experiences and insights—they’re at the heart of our work together.”

Your unique experiences and insights are so valuable - they’re at the heart of our work together.

My approach is trauma-informed and grounded in humanistic values, shaped by both my clinical training and lived experience. I offer a compassionate, judgment-free space that honours your strengths and welcomes every part of you—including the ways you’ve learned to cope and care for yourself along the way.

I draw from Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Compassion-Focused, Somatic, and Emotion-Focused approaches to support our journey and help guide our sessions.

Therapeutic Focus

  • A therapy mosaic with various negative emotions and issues written on white tiles, including trauma, self-esteem, hopelessness, PTSD, abuse, confusion, dreams, anger, fear, and pain, with a heart-shaped glass bowl filled with dried flowers placed in the center.

Therapy for Healing Attachment and Trauma Wounds

The parts of yourself that feel challenging—whether in your own behavior or in others—may have once helped you through tough moments. Together, we’ll explore and better understand these parts, nurturing compassion for them, so you can take steps toward the life you envision.

  • A person lying on a bed in a fetal position, wearing a white shirt and black shorts, with their head turned to the side and long dark hair spread out on the bed. There is a bunch of dried flowers on the bed and a wooden headboard.

Therapy for Emotional and Mood Challenges

Dealing with mood swings, self-doubt, shame, guilt, sadness, or anger all by yourself can be really exhausting. You’re not meant to go through these tough emotions alone. Together, we can create space for understanding and compassion as you navigate your journey.

  • Abstract painting with multicolored swirls of orange, yellow, red, blue, pink, and black, with the words 'WE HURT' in white 3D letters in the center.

    Therapy for Grief

Grief can take many forms. It might come from losing someone, or from not getting the steady care and support we needed. Everyone grieves differently, and there’s no “right” way to go through it. Therapy can offer a supportive space to process your grief, make sense of your experience, and begin to heal in your own time.

  • Healing the Inner Child

    Healing the Inner Child

Healing the inner child is a gentle process that helps address emotional wounds and unmet needs from childhood. It’s an opportunity to reconnect with your younger self, process past pain, and break free from patterns that may be impacting your life and relationships today. By nurturing this part of yourself, you can build self-compassion, strengthen emotional resilience, and create more authentic and fulfilling connections—with both yourself and those around you.
